4:22 pm	Update on Jen and Jeff<3 I talked to Ashley today. She said that yesterday went very well for Jen. She said that today is a little rougher, so people can't really get in to see her right now, but she's still doing ok. Jeff made it through surgery last night and now he has a long recovery ahead of him. He will hopefully be out of ICU by either tomorrow or in a few days at the longest. The family sounded significantly better. Ashley was laughing and sounded almost back to normal. Lori and Michelle and Heather were there with the family. So Jen has a lot of love at the hospital right now helping her get through this. For anybody interested or able to get there, she is at ECMC in Buffalo. And right now the visiting hours are from 12-2, 5-6, and 7:30-8. Like I said before, please just keep them both in your prayers as well as their families. Life is full of surprises, some good and some bad. And like Kaitlin said, "She's so strong... we just have to hope." Current Mood: optimistic (Comment on this)

4:10 pm	Jen<3 Nobody has updated about this yet, and I am at the lake and finally able to use the charged up laptop and so I am going to update you guys that haven't been called. Yesterday, Jen was in a car accident. Lori called to say it was pretty serious. Ashley then called and told me to call her back asap. I tried calling her home, but got the answering machine. I was finally able to get in touch with Ashley today and she has updated me on what is going on. Jen and Jeff were driving and they were basically T-boned. Jen was on the side that got hit directly. Now I am not sure on my wording and such, but I will do my best. Jen was flown to Buffalo and is in critical condition. I believe she had a torn aorta. They were able to repair it, but she is in a coma. Apparently, upon impact she went into the coma. My aunt Laura says that that is a way for the body to shut down so it can repair itself. *Let us hope* There is swelling in her brain and they are unable to test for brain damage until the swelling goes down. Her family and friends are just talking and trying to keep her comfortable... hoping she will come too soon. They've brought photos of her friends and loved ones and her dad brought her cow. I am really hoping this will help. Jeff is in the hospital in Jamestown. Something is wrong with his spleen (not sure of the correct wording) and he has a bruised lung. Emotionally, he is a wreck. Ashley and Jeff's family has flown up to NY to see them both. Please keep them in your prayers and either Lori or I or Kaitlin.. SOMEBODY will keep this updated with how she is doing. When you can't help but look at your ex-friend's photos and they're all hunky dory and having an amazing time..... alll of your OLD friends.. but you're not included and why again!? Oh. Because one moved out on you so she could "get her hw done better" aka have her crush as her RA on the other floor. And because the other one thinks you're trying to get with her man. aka She has "migraines all the time" and is PMSing like nobody's business and my bedroom was a getaway from it all. The end. 11:20 pm	INFERNO 3 Here is your mission: Try and carry 44 bundles of shingles... from the store shelf, on to of your shoulder to the end of the aisle. And then place it on an elevated platform. I repeat 44 times. If you can do this.... you're incredible. Do you know just how heavy those suckers are?! We had to get an entire pallet of shingles from the side of the road onto the roof... oy. My dad set up two ladders going from the cliff to the roof above our apartment deck adn then put plywood on top to make a walk way. My dad and I then hauled them from point A to B. I thought I was going to die. I definiltey have a pulled something in my back. I can feel it. Sarah and Christine worked like champs too. I can't even begin to put into words how heavy those things were. ... Think of Gary Paulsen's Hatchet without his hatchet.... and then go seven times tougher... Yeah that. But once the shingles are on... the place will be completely waterproofed.. aka no leaking in the living room closet.And we can knock out the wall from the existing place to the new place and wooo electric goes in, insulation, sheet rock.. bing bang boom. Sarah has her own room. And matt comes over va va voom. hahaha and that alllllllllll rhymed! And on another note! I am getting a job! I'm going to work at an animal shelter or a zoo! 11:56 pm	Woooooooooooot! We got the first wall up for the addition to the apartment! Paul and my dad worked on it all day and then we got my mom, Chris, Julie, and me to help Paul and my dad... lifted that sucker into place etc and damn!!!!!! one down!! two more outside ones to go and then the interior framing needs to be done and then at the last minute my dad will cut a hole in the wall from my current apt into the new addition.. but only at the very end. Don't want Jeffery and Sam gettin loose. I'm excited! For the work of two men... I would say the addition is moving really quickly.. especially because this morning was spent doing a lot of little odds and ends. So they could have conceivably gotten two walls up. And we cleaned up the area so they can make the wall right away. Read if you like blood: The only traumatic thing that happened today was when Paul put the nail gun through three of his fingers. Christine comes over to the apt.. and is like mom told me to leave because Paul nailgunned his hand and I'm in the way.... I finally went over. It wasn't as bad as Christine made it out to be, I mean yeah it went through his finger... but I was expecting an ER scene from like TLC or something. So he went completely through his index finger, knicked the middle finger and then somehow also knicked his ring finger. Thank god it didn't go through his hand first, ccause they would have had to pry it out... Gorrrrrrrrreyyyyy!!!! So then we all shared our nails into various body parts stories. Good clean fun. Paul stayed for lunch and he was serving everybody quiche and while he was handing Christine hers, he goes, "Oooh sorry. I got a drop of blood on that one." It was so gross!!!! Butt hysterical. My dad was like woo yeah paul! So yeah, got the wall up, and seriously just as we were pulling the tarp back on, terrential downpour! Paul and I are trying to pull the tarp on as far as we can... its' not even budging and we stop and look over at my dad to see what he wants us to do... and he's just chillin under the tarp and asks, "Anybody got any cards?" God what a riot hahaha We were all soaked through. My mom is taking pictures of us in the rain and getting her camera pissed, I'm trying to carry all these different saws down the ladder, Paul only has one hand and my dad is pretending he's scared in the garage. Jeez Louise. Finally the rain died down... but it's still friggin' humid?! WTF?! It was so hot last night that the fan didn't feel like it was cooling us off and having the windows open did absolutely nothing for us. Sam slept around the toilet to stay cool. Jeffery sprawled out on the tiles.. I stayed at the big house for as long as I could. The heat is absolutely unbearable. If this is what it is like in Florida, I am sorry, but I am not living the rest of my life suffering like that. I will take snow anyday. I for one do not like boob sweat, upper lip sweat, back of the knee crease sweat, elbow crease sweat, or stomach fold sweat, and I certainly don't like red dots that form from merely sitting with one's legs together. No thank you ma'am. Went to Walmart... got curtain rods. Can't wait to put up my princess sheets from Brigham!!! God they are soooo horrible and amazing at the same time... and who doesn't love Cinderella and the rest of the bunch. Matt was so sweet and got me a Cinderella pin. The castle is on the outside and you open it up and on the inside is Cinderella and ME!!!! Obviously he was gunning for my heart, but he didn't realize that "he had me at hello" hahahah BUT SERIOUSLY! Anywho.. got the curtain rods and a fan to try and keep me alive for a few more days hopefully. ONLY TEN MORE CLASSES UNTIL METALS IS OVER! INSANITY! I'M EXCITED! My feet are burning off. 2:37 pm	Rowly! Ok so you're supposed to read that title like Dan's "Rally!" hahahaha Lori and I had so much fun listening to all of those. Good times. Anywho. The truck full of lumber came today! Woooooot! We're getting closer to having two more bedrooms put onto the apartment~ aka Sarah gets her own room. Aka Ashley can move in whenever she can. Aka things have places where they can actually go because we all have our own rooms. Aka no more being woken up to pounding on the wall. Woot! They dropped off the side walls and the back.. On Tuesday we are getting the trusses. And in either a day or two, the addition will be framed out! I'm excited! The biggest boom ever helped to get the wood up to the second story. And thank god cause I'm sure my dad would have gone on the road with Paul and then told me to carry all the wood up myself... I would NOT put that past him. .................... On another note: Three weeks are officially up because it's FRIDAY!!!! And that means that only 9 more until I see my Matthew! Time is going soooooooo slowly... and yet at the same time flying. I mean Sarah and I only have ten more classes until Metals is over. and Architecture for that matter.. aka 6 more credits out of the way, and completed. And then photography starts! wooot wooot! I really hope it makes me work in my darkroom so I don't have to go to school to work in the studio all the time. That would be AMAZING. Goign to the studio is annoying. Days off suck. The days take forever to pass. Weekends suck too for that matter. I mean yeah no classes.... but nothing else either. And I haven't talked to Carolyn ever since she told me not to go home a while back... so I haven't seen any of them. I wish I was one of those people that love to just get up and do something..... as I sit here and want to do nothing all day, every day. I wish I was one of those people. 8:08 pm	AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH This heat is killing me softly! I dont' know about you, but I personally do not find it attractive when women's upper lips sweat the entire day. Nothing like a nice moustache glow to really attract a guy. And you gotta love sitting down and having your rolls come together to form little saunas in every crevice. Today I decided to go outsid to get the mail, not only do I enter death valley minus the sand, but deer flies galore. I was waving my hands over my head back and forth trying to get them away and it goes in my ear! So then I'm running to and from the mailbox, now I'm realllllly sweating. And no mail. Stupidest outdoor excursion I ever decided to take on. Then there's SBD.I have cheated about five hundred point two times today. I tried an oatmeal cookie at my house and a chocolate chip cookie.. why? Not cause I was hungry, cause it was there and I have no self-control. I eat the banana bread that I was supposed to freeze until phase two. And I've been eating veggie burgers which have carbs. I have no longer lost any weight. I am back to my starting weight and so nowwwwwwww if I want to lose anything I probably will have to go on the stuipd thing for another two weeks! Shooot me! We live in an attic that is too hot. There is no circulation. YOu open the windows and it's like a hair dryer being pointed right in your face. At night, we open the screen door and the cats attack the moths. Putting holes into the screen and therefore letting in those annoying little bugs that attack my computer screen at night. AND WHO INVENTED MOTHS?! I am just in a superb mood. 9:27 pm	I cleaned my entire bedroom and found a ton of papers of quotes I wrote while reading books or sayings from street signs, thoughts from teachers and entries that I would write when I needed to get thoughts out. I am putting them on here merely as a way for me to keep them, without the clutter. I would almost prefer they not go read, but I suppose I can't stop you since they are public.  They date back to the days of Tom and Charley and stuff... kinda old. 4:32 pm	Last night went to the mall with Carolyn and Keri. Payless had the coolest shoes ever! I think I have lived out a fantasy... that's just how amazing they are! HOLY CRAP! Ok. They're clear plastic flipflops... but with a heel.. and (here's the best part) the heel LIGHTS UP!!! So they're as coool as those shoes with the red lights in them that kids have.... but they're more sophisticated so LINDSEY CAN WEAR THEM!!!! They're incredible! Realized a lot of people were home, but only because Carol is home did I really find out. Mike Ferarro, Mike Staub, my cousin, Eric, Dan Silver is home from Singapore, Keri... and Ange went back to school... didn't get to see her. That was weird. Not really sure what happened there, but regardless... they all came over to the apartment. Broke out the beer pong table. They were impressed with it, which always makes me happy cause it took FOREVER! Everybody was very nervous that the liquid would ruin the "de coupage?" as sean said.... ok Mr. I took one class of Creative Crafts. haha jk. Played flip cup.... played electricity and kings. As always Sean was crazy. He got wasted at the house as did Eric... and they both got driven to the bars.... For all we know, Sean probably peed in the bar again... as he often likes to do in his drunken stupor.... Eric was hysterical. Talked about Morrisville for a while with him. He said none of the names I mentioned sounded familiar, but that he's sure if he saw a picture he would recognize them because there's only 10 people on campus... hmm. All the boys left. Carol and Keri slept over. They ate the entire refridgerator... which is actually a good thing cause starting May 29th, Carol, Sarah, me and maaaaaaybe Keri are going on the South Beach Diet, as we like to call it: SBD. We are all going to be gorgeous at the end of it and then we'll go to Florida and everybody will think we're models... and then I can wear my "No I'm not a model. I just look like one." t-shirt! With Sarah gone until Tuesday, I am friggin bored. Nobody is online, no emails, nobody is here to keep me company. I think I really took her being here for granted, as did I take for granted YOU being online. Alright. I'm out.
